Notre Dame added Boise State to its 2025 football schedule on Tuesday afternoon.The Fighting Irish will host the Broncos, denying wishful observers the opportunity to see Notre Dame duke it out on Boise’s famous blue turf.The game, scheduled for Oct. 5, will be the first ever matchup between the two football programs.Last fall, Notre Dame finished No. 14 in the final Associated Press poll following a 10-3 season under second-year coach Marcus Freeman. The Fighting Irish defeated Oregon State 40-8 in the Sun Bowl.
