Guests Rescue Handler After She’s Attacked By Alligator Named ‘Darth Gator’ [VIDEO]

A Utah woman is on the mend after being bitten by an alligator affectionately known as ‘Darth Gator.’

The incident happened at a place called Scales and Tails in Utah, which describes itself as a ‘family-run reptile and bird educational and entertainment company.’

One of Scales and Tails’ main attractions is an American Alligator named ‘Darth Gator’ and, apparently, gator don’t play.

While showing ‘Darth Gator’ to guests attending a birthday party, the American Alligator latches on to its’ handler’s hand and won’t let go.

As you can see in the video below, courtesy of Good Morning America, ‘Darth Gator’ doesn’t release his grip until one of the guests, who’s just there to enjoy a good ol’ fashioned birthday party, jumps on his back:

Thankfully, ‘Darth Gator’ allowed the handler to keep her hand, though it is a bit broken and busted up.

It is really all that much of a surprise that an alligator named ‘Darth Gator’ attempted to take a hand? If you’re a Star Wars fan, it shouldn’t be.
