The new movie traces the beginnings of The Sopranos’ main character Tony Soprano in his hometown of Newark, New Jersey. You can see the trailer for The Many Saints of Newark below.

The actor portraying Soprano is Michael Gandolfini, who just so happens to be the son of original Tony Soprano actor James Gandolfini. The film also stars Leslie Odom Jr., Jon Bernthal, Corey Stoll, Ray Liotta, and Vera Farmiga.

The Many Saints of Newark will arrive in theaters on October 1st. HBO Max subscribers can watch the film on the same day.
