Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced earlier today (9/25) that movie theaters, performance venues, and more businesses shuttered by the coronavirus can reopen their doors beginning October 9th.

According to our media partner ABC12, movie theaters, performance venues, arcades, bingo halls, bowling centers, and other businesses that have remained closed since the spring can reopen beginning October 9th.

Along with these businesses reopening, Governor Whitmer has also relaxed the indoor gathering restrictions, which will make it possible for some of these businesses to operate properly.
