Metallica’s James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett performed The Star Spangled Banner, socially distanced, of course, before Wednesday night’s game between the San Francisco Giants and the Colorado Rockies!
This is certainly not the first time the two have performed our national anthem before a Giants game, as the team has hosted multiple Metallica nights over the years.
Metallica recently released S&M2, which was recorded with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra in 2019.
