In an attempt to further curb the spread of COVID-19, Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer is limiting gatherings to 50 people or less beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning, March 17th.
The order will be in place until April 5th at 5 p.m., though it could be extended.
Of course, there are exceptions to this new order. According to ABC12, healthcare facilities, private workplaces, grocery stores, and pharmacies, among others, will continue to operate as normal.
It was just a couple of days ago that Whitmer announced that gatherings of 250 or more would be banned.
Earlier today, new guidelines from the CDC suggested that people should avoid groups of ten people or more.
