Things started out good before Michigan State’s game against Michigan in East Lansing on Saturday, October 20th. Unfortunately for those in attendance, severe weather rolled in, as you can see in the above time-lapse video from MLive.
Just minutes into the game’s first quarter, the entire stadium had to be evacuated, due to severe weather approaching.
In the time-lapse video, courtesy of our friends at MLive, you see fans arriving and getting ready for one of the greatest rivalries in sports. Things quickly take a turn for the worse, though, when dark clouds begin covering East Lansing.
The game ended up being delayed for more than an hour. Once the two teams returned to the field, Michigan was able to hold off Michigan State for a 21-7 victory.
