Dan McKernan, founder and executive director of Barn Sanctuary in Chelsea, recently made an appearance on Ellen to help celebrate Ellen DeGeneres’ 60th birthday!

Barn Sanctuary, of course, is home to Adam ‘Bruiser’ Matthews Esquire, the pig that jumped off a truck in Midland with his brother. After they were rescued, the two pigs made their way to Barn Sanctuary, where, unfortunately, Adam’s brother passed away, due to his injuries.

McKernan’s appearance on The Ellen Show was in conjunction with One Million Acts of Good, a partnership Degeneres has with Cheerios.

In honor of reaching their goal, Degeneres and Cheerios gave every person in the audience, including McKernan, $1 million to split.
