Miguel Cabrera started a bench-clearing brawl during the Detroit Tigers’ game Thursday afternoon, August 24th, against the New York Yankees.

Cabrera was hit by a Tommy Kahnle pitch, which led to him being ejected. The New York Yankees then sent Aroldis Chapman to the mound.

During the pitching change, New York Yankees catcher Austin Romine said something to upset the Tigers slugger enough to warrant a push. Then, the fists started flying and the benches cleared.

Both Cabrera and Romine were ejected from the game.
