According to Wikipedia, Tannerite is an exploding target used for firearms practice. This is what happens when you shoot a fridge filled with Tannerite.

As you can see in the video above, the gentleman hiding behind the tree shoots at the Tannerite-filled fridge and nearly gets obliterated by the door.
