The 2017 NBA Finals kicked off Thursday night, June 1st. To celebrate, the NBA put together a collection of some of the best moments over the Finals’ 71-year history, set to the sultry tones of Metallica.

There’s no real explanation as to why the NBA decided to use music from Metallica, but we’re definitely not complaining, because normally they’d choose an artist like Ed Sheeran or Rihanna.
