After months of waiting, the first teaser trailer for ‘It’ was released yesterday, courtesy of Warner Bros. Pictures.

Based on the Stephen King novel of the same name, ‘It’ follows seven suburban kids as they deal with an entity that uses their own fears against them. Most often, ‘It’ appears as a clown named Pennywise.

Back in 1990, ‘It’ was made into a made-for-TV miniseries, which starred Tim Curry as Pennywise. Because Curry was so perfect as Pennywise, many fear that the new film will have a difficult time living up to its predecessor.

‘It’ will hit theaters in September.
