Linkin Park is counting down to something, but what?
Over the weekend, the band’s social media accounts all posted the same video, which featured a 100-hour countdown.
Of course, that threw the Internet into a tizzy, because many assume that this means the rumors that the band is reuniting are true.
But, if the band is reuniting, who will take over vocal duties for the late, great Chester Bennington? When rumors first started circulating that the band could be reuniting with a new singer, there was a suggestion that the singer might be a female.
While that might be true, there’s a new, more plausible possibility. Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley has an announcement coming up Wednesday, August 28th, which has led many to assume that he will be joining Linkin Park for their reunion shows. His band, Sum 41, recently released their final album, so the timing of it all sort of works out.
