Sony Pictures Entertainment just dropped a brand new trailer for Morbius starring Jared Leto and it sounds like we’re getting very, very close to bringing the ‘Spider-verse’ together.

Leto plays Dr. Michael Morbius, who becomes the title character after finding a cure for a rare disease. That cure, unfortunately, turns him into a vampire.

In the trailer, which you can see below, there are references to Spider-Man, Venom, and an appearance by Michael Keaton as The Vulture. So, yeh, it seems like the ‘Spider-Verse’ is becoming more and more connected with every film.

Morbius will hit theaters in January 2022.
