Dr. Anthony Fauci threw out the first pitch at Thursday night’s Opening Day game between the Washington Nationals and New York Yankees and it was just a bit outside.
As someone who has thrown out the first pitch at a Great Lakes Loons baseball game, I can tell you how nerve-wracking the whole experience can be, so I feel Dr. Fauci’s pain. Then again, I guess Dr. Fauci throwing out the first pitch before a history-making game is a bit bigger than me throwing out the first pitch at a random Minor League Baseball game.
