Rapper Lil Nas X released his follow-up to ‘Old Town Road’ last night and it bares a striking resemblance to a Nirvana classic.
When Lil Nas X’s ‘Panini’ hit YouTube, people immediately noticed that the song’s chorus sounded an awful lot like Nirvana’s ‘In Bloom.’ You can judge for yourself in the video above.
Apparently, Lil Nas X claimed that he had never heard Nirvana before and that it was just a coincidence that the two songs sounded similar.
I’m going to venture a guess that Lil Nas X won’t be considered nearly as influential as Nirvana when his career is over in a few months.
