There have been plenty of terrible ceremonial first pitches, but this one might be the absolute worst.

During Tuesday night’s game between the Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals, a woman had the opportunity to throw out the ceremonial first pitch and, well, things didn’t go as planned.

As you can see in the video above, the woman lets the ball go and it sails right into the photographer standing to the left of her.

Thankfully, the photographer and the camera were both OK. The woman’s pride, though, took a bit of a hit.
