Last night’s Detroit Tigers game at Comerica Park was interrupted by a goose, which wouldn’t be news, except it flew into a scoreboard when attempting to exit the stadium.
The Tigers were hosting Mike Trout and the Los Angeles Angels at Comerica Park when a goose flew onto the field.
Of course, you can’t play baseball with a goose on the field, so the grounds crew at Comerica Park attempted to get the goose off the field by chasing it around.
After a few minutes on the field, the goose decided it was time to exit and started to ascend out of Comerica Park. Unfortunately, it didn’t get quite enough height on its flight and flew right into one of the scoreboards surrounding the park.
The goose fell to the seats below where it was corralled and treated for potential injuries. Thankfully, the goose will be OK.
