Sony Pictures has released the official trailer for Venom, which will hit theaters on October 5th.

The trailer, which you can see above, gives us our first glimpse at the title character, which is being played by Academy Award nominee Tom Hardy.

This won’t be the first time we’ve seen Venom on the big screen. Topher Grace first inhabited the role of Venom in Spider-Man 3, which was released in 2017.

Venom arrives in theaters October 5th.
