Metallica is one of those bands with a very distinct sound. When you hear a Metallica song, you know it’s Metallica immediately. You may not know them, though, when the guitar and bass parts are switched.

YouTuber Andriy Vasylenko teamed up with Denis Pauna to perform 17 different Metallica songs with the guitar and bass parts swapped.

Sure, they’re still Metallica songs, but you can’t tell me that ‘Welcome Home (Sanitarium)’ and ‘For Whom the Bell Tolls’ don’t sound just a little bit different with the bass taking the lead.
