Sunday, December 3rd, was supposed to be the day that the Pontiac Silverdome met its maker, but the former home of the Detroit Lions had other ideas.
Unfortunately for the Silverdome, crews were able to figure out the issue that caused it to not fall in the first place and gave it another shot on Monday, December 4th.
This time around, the upper ring of the Silverdome came crashing down, as you can see in the video above.
The remaining portions of the Silverdome will be cleared with bulldozers, bringing an end to a Detroit sports era.
