Comedian Ralphie May has passed away at the age of 45.

According to TMZ, May’s body was discovered in a private residence in Las Vegas Friday morning, October 6th. May had reportedly been battling pneumonia for quite some time and is believed to have died of cardiac arrest.

May finished second in the first season of the TV show Last Comic Standing. Over the course of his career, May released seven comedy album, four Comedy Central specials, and two Netflix specials.

May is survived by his two children.
