Contestants on Jeopardy! are expected to know quite a bit of fairly useless trivia, so it comes as a bit of a surprise that they know absolutely dick about football.

One of the categories on the September 25th episode of Jeopardy! was ‘NFL Teams by Hall of Famer.’ So, host Alex Trebek would give you the name of the player and you’d have to tell him what team that player had played for.

Seems fairly simple, right? Wrong. These Jeopardy! contestants didn’t get a single clue right, which is pretty shocking, considering all three players mentioned are fairly well-known.

Maybe Jeopardy! should just keep the sports categories in Sports Jeopardy! and call it good.
