There are all sorts of strange records in the world. This guy, for example, now holds the record for the most watermelons karate chopped in one minute.

Ron Sarchian appeared on TODAY to do what he was put on this planet to do: chop the sh*t out of some watermelons.

And, chop he did. Sarchian chops his way through 42 watermelons in one minute, becoming a Guinness World Record Holder in the process.
