Nine Inch Nails was the latest band to make an appearance on Showtime’s Twin Peaks: The Return.

The band, introduced as The Nine Inch Nails, performed the song ‘She’s Gone Away’ and were featured in a scene set inside the Bang Bang Bar, which is a fictitious location in Twin Peaks.

Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor has quite the history with Twin Peaks creator David Lynch. Nine Inch Nails’ song ‘The Perfect Drug’ appeared on the soundtrack to Lynch’s Lost Highway. Lynch has also directed one of the band’s music videos in the past.
