After you win an award, it’s customary to thank the people you love. For this soccer player, that included both his wife and his girlfriend.

Ghana’s Mohammed Anas was accepting his ‘Man of the Match’ award following a recent match when he started rattling off the names of the people he needed to thank.

Included in that list were his teammates, his wife, and his girlfriend, which you can see in the video above.

Anas realizes that he’s made a huge mistake almost immediately, backpedaling after stating ‘my girlfriend’ and later claiming that he actually meant his daughter, which makes this infinitely more strange.

There’s no word yet on whether or not Anas’ wife smacked the hell out of him when he arrived home later that night.
