Watch This Basketball Player’s Eye Pop Out of Socket During a Game

If you’re even the least bit squeamish, we suggest you avoid watching this video of a basketball player’s eye popping out of socket.

Akil Mitchell is a former University of Virginia basketball player who now plays in New Zealand.

During a recent game, Mitchell took a poke to the eye, which, unfortunately, caused his eye to pop out of its socket. Play was stopped for more than 15 minutes, according to CBS News, so Mitchell could be tended to by medical staff.

Mitchell released a statement, in which he said he can now see just fine, but will be going through more tests soon.
