Friday night’s Orange Bowl between the University of Michigan and Florida State was one of the more entertaining games so far this bowl season. The most entertaining part of the game, however, took place long before either team touched the ball.
During the pregame celebration, Florida State’s horse, Renegade, took the field with Chief Osceola on its back, much like it has before every other Florida State home game.
Unlike every other Florida State home game, though, Renegade couldn’t handle the magnitude of the situation and freaked out a bit, sending Chief Osceola to the turf.
Thankfully, ESPN college football analyst Danny Kanell was there to capture it all and post it on Twitter:

Here’s to hoping that both Renegade and Chief Osceola are OK. Florida State would end up winning the game, despite the pregame blunder, 33-32 in Miami.
