During his fight against Tiago Trator, Shane Burgos decided that his ponytail was bothering him a bit too much, so he had someone cut it off in between rounds. You can see the haircut in the video above.
According to BroBible, it’s believed to be the first haircut to ever take place during a fight in UFC history.
Burgos ended up winning in a unanimous decision, so it’s probably a pretty safe bet that we won’t see Burgos sporting a ponytail again anytime soon.
