Forbes recently released their list of the world’s highest-paid musicians and rock wasn’t exactly well represented on the list.
Taylor Swift topped Forbes‘ list with $170 million, which should come as a shock to absolutely no one. She was followed by One Direction, Adele, Madonna, and Rihanna.
The first rock band to appear on the list is AC/DC, who show up at #7, right behind Garth Brooks. AC/DC earned $67.5 million during Forbes’ scoring period to earn rock’s top spot.
AC/DC was followed by The Rolling Stones, who earned $66.5 million, according to Forbes, even though they only played a total of 27 shows during the scoring period.
Other rockers appearing on the list include Muse (20), Foo Fighters (21) and Mumford and Sons (28).
