Retro Pricing @ Ford Field This Sunday

Detroit, Mich. — The Detroit Lions announced today the first ever retro pricing promotion at Ford Field for the team’s homecoming game Sunday, October 16 against the Los Angeles Rams. In recognition of the 1991 team, The Breadstick Bar and Bistro will sell beer and hot dogs at 1991 prices.

The 1991 pricing promotion features beer for $3.50 and hotdogs for $2.50 and will be available exclusively at The Breadstick beginning at 12 PM following the DTE Energy Power Hour. The Breadstick is located on the second floor of the concourse near Gate A.

“We worked with Levy Restaurants to come up with a fun promotion that not only has a nostalgia touchpoint, but also is a value addition to the game day experience,” said Lions Senior Vice President of Business Development Kelly Kozole. “The ’91 pricing at The Breadstick will be offered at the conclusion of the DTE Energy Power hour and throughout the game.”

In addition to the retro pricing promotion, the Lions are offering two other celebratory homecoming promotions: a special ticket offer for the game that includes a Detroit Lions Zubaz giveaway available while supplies last at Detroitlions.com/tickets, as well as giving the first 20,000 fans inside the stadium by noon a Detroit Lions Barry Sanders Bobblehead.

The Detroit Lions are recognizing the 1991 team as part of their homecoming activities for the October 16 game vs. the LA Rams. The 1991 team set the franchise regular season win mark at 12 and went on to defeat the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Divisional playoff game before losing to the Washington Redskins in the NFC Championship game. The team finished the regular season with six straight wins, the last five following a tragic injury to OL Mike Utley after which the team honored Utley with a ‘thumbs up’ gesture following each win.
